Instagram Integration

1. Why Does Jiwa AI Connect to Instagram?

Jiwa AI is an AI-powered social media content management platform. We use the Instagram Graph API to let you analyze your brand, create personalized content, and publish it directly to your Instagram Business account — all in one seamless workflow.

2. Data We Access

When you connect your Instagram Business account, we request the following permissions:

We access:

• Profile information: username, biography, website URL, profile picture URL
• Profile metrics: follower count, media count
• Recent posts: captions, media URLs, like counts, comment counts, timestamps, and permalinks

This data is used to analyze your brand identity so that the AI content we generate matches your tone, style, and audience.

instagram_business_content_publish

We publish feed posts, stories, and reels to your Instagram account on your behalf. Every piece of content must be reviewed and approved by you before it is published. We never publish content without your explicit approval.

3. What We Never Do

• We do not read or send your Instagram messages.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your Instagram data with third parties for advertising purposes.
• We do not access deleted posts or personal data beyond the granted permissions.
• We do not store access tokens beyond 60 days (Instagram's long-lived token limit).

4. How to Revoke Access

You can disconnect Jiwa AI from your Instagram account at any time:

1. Open Instagram on your phone or browser.
2. Go to Settings > Security > Apps and Websites.
3. Find Jiwa AI and tap Remove.

You can also request data deletion by emailing claudiajasminewidjaja@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request." We will process the request within 30 days.

5. Data Security

Instagram access tokens are stored encrypted in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase. All data transmission uses HTTPS (TLS encryption). We never expose your access tokens to browser clients.
